If they were nicer to the piggies in the meat industry I'd have virtually no problem with them being eaten. It's just that when they're baby piggies they cut their ears, tails, and genitals off, and the runts that don't fatten up quickly enough they grab them by their hind legs and slam their skulls into the floor and lay them on the floor to convulse and scream until they die.
I've also read pigs are very intelligent animals.
Also the e. coli and stuff that you get from eating some animal if it is not cooked enough is from their intestines and fecal matter... it usually contaminates the meat during the processing and such. So you're eating pig ****.
And all the genetic modification and hormones they pump into everything... they just want to make money. Nobody cares about the animals, or even worse, the long term effects on humans and the world from all of this.
Stuff isn't regulated enough. A lot of standard intimate health items cause infections, increased transmission of diseases, some may contain carcinogens... and some of them do this without being at all effective. Marketing schemes.
And a lot of skin products, even the expensive ones, damage your skin over time. Anti wrinkle creams plump up your wrinkles temporarily but in the long run they age your skn faster and deplete it of nutrients and its natural defenses.
It's a known fact that cellphone radiation from more or less average use of cellphones breaks down the blood-brain barrier in rats and lets proteins from the blood damage the brain... but do we hear about it? No. Bluetooths should really be promoted for public health instead of just for the busy businessman... cellphones have high frequency radiation, so if there is a resonance somewher in the frequency that effects our bodies, we are getting bombarded with it due to the high frequency. Also, they have very strong radiation to communicate with cellphone towers miles away. People are concerned about the towers, but radiation decreases at the square of the distance or however you term that, so holding a cellphone up to your head is much more dangerous than living near a cellphone tower. In your pocket, the radiation from the cellphone is minimal, and bluetooths have low radiation since they only have to communicate within a few feet.
Dolphins in themeparks are self-destructive and have committed apparent intentional suicide... they go crazy because the barriers of their cages screw with their echolocation and drive them crazy, for one.
Fertilizers on farms are running off into rivers and going out into the ocean and the phosphates feed algae blooms which deplete light and nutrients from corals and other reef dwellers, killing them...
Animals "rescued" from zoos continue to pace in very confined spaces even when they are free within a very large area.
