So after waiting just over a week with no substrate I decided to give "CaribSea Flora Max" a try. (I'll let it settle for a bit and then start planting some of my rooted plants to see how they do)

The floating plant is water sprite, the one with the round leaves under it Brazilian pennyworth, you have some kind of sword in the back right corner (not a good spot, this plant will get about as big as your tank) Tank looks very nice !
