BTW, where do you get your plants? Were I live there is a Petsmart, and a local pet store (little-to-no plants)... do you know if Petsmart will do Special Orders?

I got my 1st L. Aromatica from AquaBid. I was very disappointed with the bunch that I received because of all the algae that was on them. The somewhat healthiest stem was covered in BBA. (mind you, I did asked the guy if they were a healthy bunch, but got suckered instead)

My second shipment came from a member of a different forum. She shipped me the most beautiful and healthiest stems that she had (I said, "whoa!") in exchange for a H. Compacta that I have. That was a great deal.

I'm not sure if Petsmart or any other LFS will get them. It doesn't hurt to ask them if they can order it for you. Otherwise, just PM me and I'll refer you to that forum member that sold me mine. If you have other plants that you'd like to trade, perhaps you can do that with someone as well.

Just planted my first planted tank today...

Hoping the lloydiella and baby tears grow fast to fill in the tank! I moved the driftwood more off center than in the picture.

Here's my 10 gal planted tank. It is a work in progress. The moss wall (the silver thing in the background) was reconstructed & the algae/dirt on the front glass has been cleaned. The filter was moved to the right wall and faces the left for a better current (I had too much stagnant water). I think the plants are (from left to right) - java and Christmas moss on a stick (sound slike an item at a local hot dog atand), moss wall (background), lloydiella, random pieces of Christmas and java moss, rescued java fern on the driftwood, and red ludwigia on the right. If you have suggestions, comments, or cristicisms, I am happy to hear them

Not as full and compleate as most yet but I just started this tank a week ago. Trying to fill out the micro sword at the bottom. Still a work in progress.

this pic is 2 weeks old. the hornwort is gone now. well most of its is gone now. a few things have changed and plants have grown. i hope to get more plants soon.
