Post Pictures of Your Tanks!!

I gotta get an updated shot of my tank! It's been a while, and it's changed a lot.

I love your tanks!!!

I would post pics of my 45 - 50g, 10g, and 2x5g tanks, but all my pics are on another computer!Lol :)

sorry, i should have clarified. i have 2 fixtures that hold 2 bulbs each for a total of 4 bulbs.
That's barley 2wpg over a tank that is 18 inches deep, and 72 inches long.Plus if each fixture is 21 inches long, that leaves 30 inches that does not have light directly over it.That really isn't a whole lot of light.CO2 never hurts, but I think adding some more lights may help too.Who ever said you have too much light is mistaken,IMO.

ok, said i would clean it up a bit and re-arrange a little, so here's the new pics of the 150gal. water still hasn't cleared up 100% from me moving everything, but here's the pics n e way.

thanks for clarifying, like i said, i really don't know much about planted tanks and such. I've always wanted to upgrade the lights but when i bought this tank it had the light fixtures drilled into the canopy through the top and then the person filled in the screw heads so i have no idea where they are located, lol. my goal had been to put 4 3' light fixtures, or something along those lines to get at least 3wpg. the only reason i didn't do that is due to the fact that discus don't generally like really bright lights. anyway, I have to keep these lights, would co2 be a waste since i do not have adequate lighting? thank you for all your help btw. although we know how to raise discus properly over at SD, plants are not everyone's expertice over there, lol

No problem.:)
CO2 is never a waste, but it is expensive.I would personally invest in lights first. Then if you can keep your lowlight plants alive, add the CO2. I posted pics of 3 tanks in this thread and none of them have CO2.I have used pressurized CO2 and love it.Plants love it.I plan on adding it to the 30 and 20 gallon I posted pics of.But until you have the right lighting,I don't think the plants will benefit from having CO2.
How long are you keeping your lights on for?

roughly 10 hrs.

Thanks for the Discus source link. Is this place local for you or do you have them shipped?

They are not local to me. I do not have them shipped. It’s about a 7 hr drive and that’s why I only go every 6 months or so. I would let them ship to me But, It’s close enough for me to drive and that way they only spend 8hrs in the bags! I also get to personally pic the ones I want! Add to that the prices are Very FAIR and the fish are BEAUTIFUL. It is worth the trip to me.

PS - I wish someone would open a shop like this closer to me. Like Baton Rouge or somewhere that the area could support it. That 2 hr drive would be so much better! lol
