Thanks for the Discus source link. Is this place local for you or do you have them shipped?I get most of my Discus from Huston. They have hard water with High ph! As long as you slowly acclimate your new fish over to your tank they will be fine. At first I thought they needed soft water and low ph and so on. But what is important is stability! They do fine with 7.6+ ph in hard water. As I said all the fish at houstonaquariumwarehouse.com are kept in these conditions and you would be hard pressed to find better stock!
SO don’t fear the Discus because of your water ph/hardness. They do take attention and a lot of fresh water /changes. I am sure you would do well with them if you wanted to.

He is right, at least move this thread over to the photo gallery so people can find it easier. Just a though. But I think it's cool to have everyone's tank in one place. It can easily show the comparisons between each.
