im not too far from baltimore, about 2 hours, im in southeast pa.

I was was actually wondering the other day how many poeple keep tanks for an excuse to come to this site :laugh:

I have a tank because its relaxing, I love the sound of the trickle of my filter, and watching the fish silently and peacfully swim around. It's also something that I wouldn't otherwise get to see. Its like looking into a whole new world. There might be a little bit of that god complex too. (Oh yeah, I don't have to rememeber to water my plants every day.)
 
Wow, this thread strikes a chord because the other day, as I was stuck with my arm a foot deep in water gravel vaccing, I wondered about that God complex thing...I also wondered if there is a God if it has to deal with "cleaning our tank once to many times a week".....I love the watery sounds of the filters, I love the little bit of a tropical environment in my apartment, I love the setting goals of being able to care for different levels of environments (ie. knowing I'm not ready for a saltwater tank even though I want one)...I'm also a pisces and though I don't always buy into astrological stuff I find that I'm drawn to fish and water and such..

Black Molly's fry need help

Hi folks,
I m kinda new to postquestions. i have been keeping fishes from last 5 years.
in january my black mollies have babies, i transfer the fry in different tank so as to avoid being eaten up by other fishes( as happens many times b4)i had 44 fry but only 10-15 survived after 2 months but i donot wt has happened one by one each baby fish is starin to die .baby generly sit all time at bottom tank ,when i try to move it it sllllooooowwwwly swims away( i mean realy slow).almost 5-6 fry has dies after 4 such days. i have left with only 3 out of 44(i m sad )but now too 1 more fry is sitting at bottom of tank tat has only fry in it (no other fish or plant to bother it)sick baby donot swim much , stomach is looking like as if it is not eating but i have seen it eating. i m very much concerned abt fry so plz help me. i have do alot to raise it.my work of 4 months will go vain if all fry died. i donot know how to post so i added my ques in this post. plz help me ti save my fry.i m feeding my fry with blood worms and finely crushed flakes.
