Practicing my fish photography.....

Those are awesome!

Very nice...

Are you clipping these pictures or are you able to take shots close enough to fill the frame? I don't think your lens is macro, correct?

Thanks! The pictures are not cropped, they are all shot using a 28-135mm IS lens. I usually shoot with the lens set to about 100mm, f-stop of around 10, shutter speed between 150 and 250 and iso set to 100.

That would not be possible without a flash... I need to get one of those... :D

Without a flash, I have to use ISO200 or 400, using either 90mm f2.8 or 50mm f1.4 primes and speed at 60ish which means lots of blurry pictures I have to throw away.

Another nice picture, by the way. :D

Try using your built in flash. If you shoot close to the glass, and down at about a 20-30 degree angle, you can get some pretty decent results. Obviously using an overhead flash is preffered, but in a pinch, this works quite well with a little practice.

I'll try that.. But in the past, I didn't have a great success with built-in flash, hence I tend to rely more on larger aperture lenses which also brings in another challenge with narrow depth of field.
