Are you clipping these pictures or are you able to take shots close enough to fill the frame? I don't think your lens is macro, correct?
Thanks! The pictures are not cropped, they are all shot using a 28-135mm IS lens. I usually shoot with the lens set to about 100mm, f-stop of around 10, shutter speed between 150 and 250 and iso set to 100.
Try using your built in flash. If you shoot close to the glass, and down at about a 20-30 degree angle, you can get some pretty decent results. Obviously using an overhead flash is preffered, but in a pinch, this works quite well with a little practice.
