Guppies are almost born pregnant! and if they have a swollen gravid spot like yours has then she will soon give birth. Guppy females can store sperm to fertilise her eggs for up to 6 months so even if you take your males away she will still have more babies. Make sure there are plenty of floating plants around and your fish are well fed and some should survive.

Forgot to also mention that if the males are always kept with the females she will often look fat even though she has recently given birth. This is her store of unfertilised eggs.

she is quite young, does that make a difference of how many fry she will have?
I will end up giving the fry to my LFS for store credit when they are big enough.

oh, and from where i'm standing, it looks like a Gambusina species to me. anyway... yeah, she'll pop soon.

i've seen young Gambusina affinis sold as feeder guppies all the time. wild colored guppies don't have the iridescence, and are thinner, even when pregnant. they are also smaller. trust me, I caught these fish all the time when I was younger to use as fishing bait.
