Mosquito "bits" are a chitin inhibitor that keep larvae from molting to their next stage of development, so they don't reach adulthood. Fish safe!
Theyre in a jar, can't get out if they turn to adults. But I only collected enough for a couple days feeding anyways lol

Yea but i bet it didn't exist 2000 years ago during the dark ages. Heck back then i hear they used lead for aquaductcs.
That is such a weird size tank, very narrow, but you've scaped it so that it looks much broader than it is. You've created an illusion that it's much deeper than 6", at least in the pic. Really looks good!

Hes coloured up a lot more, getting more red 
Hes also now very eagerly coming to the front of the tank if he sees us, seems to realize we will drop in a mozzie larva for him if he does lol
