protein skimmer...help!!

Hopefully you can use your RO for your personal consumption too. We would be lost drinking our tap water.. :headshake2:

You know after I found out how "nasty" my tap water really was... I quit drinking it completely. But we supposedly have some of the best tap water in the US up here but you can't tell me that with my TDS meter test results. Nasty.. And then looking at my filters.. ugh.. :D

Make sure your water isn't too bad. I was going to get a ro/di until I found out that my water would kill the di and the ro would still only get me into the 100-200 tds range, so I am stuck with tap until I can come up with plan B (I get tank water from the lfs).

i thought the whole reason to get a RO/DI system was if u had bad water....my water smells as if it has alot of bleach in it so i dunno ... i dont drink it .

I have the coralife 65gal superskimmer, and haven't been too impressed with it.

They are on a different water system than you?
