Python questions

I'd like to add a question to this thread, if this water is coming straight from the sink, is it conditioned in tank? do you just dose the tank with something like prime and then add the water, does it not hurt your fish or beni bacteria?

Thanks

If you add your dechlorinator to the tank before you turn on the water, you don't need to worry about harming your fish or beneficial bacteria.

Everyone is always so scared that adding water straight from the sink is somehow going to instantly nuke their fish lol. Pythons have been around for many many years.

You do indeed add the water straight from your faucet to the tank. All you have to do is add something like Prime to the tank before you add your water back. Never had a single issue from hundreds of water changes so I'm pretty sure its safe along with the countless thousands of others who use this same system :)
