Hi all. I was hoping someone could post some close up pics of their python system. I have a regular crappy siphon and I since my boyfriend owns a hardware store we were hoping we had the suppliesto make a better one to attach to the sink in my kitchen.
One thing I was curious about was the on/off switch.. I'm really interested in a close up of that and all the adaptors. Attached and unattached, if possible. If I'm able to make it successfully I'd post my plans here so others could do it. I'm not planning on trying to sell these or anything.. I just can't afford to buy the python as I can't work right now and my sink is VERY far away. Atm I can't even carry buckets of water due to my surgery and my poor boyfriend has to come over and do it for me. lol.

Thanks SO much

Sarah

You can buy the on/off switch for like $3.50 at Petsmart. Just bring in a printout from their website so they can price match. You can probably get all the necessary parts using the same method for around $15. Then just get as long a hose as you need from your boyfriend.

(on/off switch, 2 female connectors, 1 male connector, 1 faucet pump. If you need, your boyfriend can supply you the faucet adaptor - the one that comes with the Python might not be of use to you anyway, + hose)

I inherited a Lee's Ultimate Python gravel vac without the faucet pump. I just got the pump part from Petsmart and swapped out the gravel vac part (hated the clawed vac). I also bought a 20' extension. Works great.
