I've been trying to price it out to set up a decent QT tank.
I priced a 20 gallon without stand (have one I can make work)
Heater, H.O.B. filter (Penguin model), Hood with cheap light in it, thermometer and 1 powerhead for circulation. I figured it to be about $150.00
Looking online I can get a Aquapod system complete for $155.00
That has a C.F. lighting (I will be QT'ing corals and the like)
Which would I be better off with?
Here's the quote from the Aquapod system:
"12 Gallon, 54W Compact Fluorescent System - Includes: Surface skimming filtration system, 1-27W square pin Dual Daylight 6700°K/10000°K Daylight bulb, 1-27W square pin Dual Actinic 420nm/460nm Actinic bulb, 2 blue LED lights, cooling fan, mechanical sponge filter, 160 gph submersible pump with flat nozzle, and complete instructions."
Opinions welcome as well as ideas.
:help:
I'm off to bed now, will check back later.
