Quarintine tanks

well you cant put a filter in with screen covers

yes, you can. you just cut a small hole for the airline tubing for the sponge filter.

I have a 4 gallon rubbermaid, one that's top is split in half like an "S" so I could feed the wires and tubing down it. I haven't had to use it yet. I wanted the non-glass version so I can use it as a temporary hurricane evacuation as well (which you can't do with glass). I'm thinking I might get a larger size though if I come across. (But I think with siphoning out waste, I could make do with all my small fish for a few short days.)

For me, QT tanks are all about function over form since you're not really displaying anything. You could get a cheapo plastic hood from a pet store, get a screen top and cut holes for wire/airline tubing, or even get piece of glass cut to fit over the top of the tank.
