I'm thinking of turning my 10g QT tank into a heavily planted invert tank (unless i find a nice small fish to use) and was looking at carpeting plants. I've got a layout with what plants I'd like to use, but was wondering how much hairgrass I would need to cover the entire bottom of the tank.
I know they're to be planted about an inch apart so i'm probably thinking 30 or so plants should do it. Is my math correct?
