Awesome guys thanks!! How many would you suggest getting?? Also, should I get a bunch of different kinds??? And what should I do about adding water movement to the tank??

If you want a bunch of different types, then I would get at least 3 of each species(4 different species) or 4 of each(3 different species). You could probably do more, but you should start out with that. For water movement, if you want more filtration, and water movement, this filter would be great

but since they are both about the same price, I would go with the filter unless you have more than enough filtration already. Then go with the powerhead.

I can only say what works for me.

I run two Rena XP3's. One could easily handle the tank, but I like having the extra filration. Also, I only clean one filter at a time, so the other does not get disturbed and no interuption in the biological filtration. I point the spray bars towards the surfaced for good surface agitation.

I also run two Penguin power heads with filters. This adds a lot of flow and even more biological filtration.

It's interesting...if the power heads are running, the fish are very active and cruising around the tank. If I turn them off, the whole tank kink of slows down. I like the movement. You might notice in the video that some of the Rainbows are kind of "fluttering" as they pass by. That is them swimming into the current from the powerheads. They seem to like it.

I like a lot of different colors, but that is me. I don't think it makes much difference as far as "schooling" goes. As mentioned above, mine just cruise all over the tank. When I walk by, they tend to follow me which looks like schooling.

You can fit quite a few Rainbows in a 75. Again, their bioload is pretty light. They really have very little mass. Resist the urge to overfeed, as Rainbows are always hungry.

By the way, my fish are all males. They have the best color, and they still "flash" and display on a regular basis.

but when I had my dwarf neons, I got 4 males, and 6 females, in an attempt to see if they would breed, but they didn't.
