Rams and Firemouths

Definately a no.

Rams are small, peaceful cichlids which like plants and warm water (82-88F), many are also on the delicate side depending on where they are from. A firemouth could beat the pants off a ram and potentially eat it.
 
As the others are saying, no don't mix rams and firemouths. Rams are more of a community fish than something that will hold up in a cichlid tank.

Rams are small South American cichlids, Firemouths are mid-sized Central American cichlids. Water conditions, temperaments, diet, and preferred tankmates are not at all compatible. Tell us what size tank you have and what else you want to keep in it, and we can tell you which of the two species will be the best match.
