I've given up on that. But ever since I decreased the amount of feedings, I have seen less snails living there, only find the empty shells from the many snails that used to be.

Spotted? Generic ramshorn. I found that if I had them in one of my small 3g quarantine tanks and dropped in Tetra Betta Flakes, they turned a beautiful shade of red.

I have young (pea-size) ramshorn snails in my 30 with transparent shells. I'm waiting to see what the shells look like as they grow larger...

No one eats the pond snail eggs. The only other option is the cories.

I'm not sure if you know this or not, but make sure you have enough calcium in your water for their shells to thicken and grow.

I only had seven ramshorns for ten days and already there's eggs all over the tank glass, especially on the silicone in the corners.
