Can't believe that matters to people. Is it like a status symbol?

I can say I usually have read replies before I answer something but there has been many times where I make it part of the way through a lot of replies and then am surprised that something specific isn't mentioned so I go ahead and add to it. It might have been mentioned a couple replies after I stopped reading and started typing but I don't see a problem with that. Not like we are in school any more with specific reading requirements. This is just a social place for people to get info and socialize about a hobby. A couple repeat replies because someone doesn't want to read through 100 replies is no biggie. Still don't get why post count matters to people though XD
 
Some people think that if they have ultra high post counts that some how what the post is automatically validated. Plus a lot of people just like to hear themselves talk..

I try to read all the replies before commenting on a topic, but wading through 10 pages of "stalking police" remarks and other such tedious replies is tough.
 
Freudian varies depending on the recipient.....
 
Exactly. I used to participate in Aquarium Advice forums. The people on there were very rude, especially emerald76. They gave me two infraction points because i accidently posted a thread twice. I told them it was an honest accident and then they gave me another infraction for arguing. Thats why i moved here. Everyone is very nice :)

ahaha that is the worst forum. i know atleast 4 people that have gotten banned. including me. you cant argue with the moderators either.
