One thing that always drives me nuts in these threads is how people go on and on about how big the cichlids will get. They're not going to reach full size over night, not even within a year, so you've got time to consider your options. Don't freak out.

As for the look of the tank I'd just add some taller plants and maybe some more hiding places with rocks or driftwood.

But at that same time if nobody says anything nothing will be done. Yes, these cichlids will not reach full size overnight but it is not only about size, their behavior can snap at any second. The sooner the OP does fix the stocking situation, the less problems they will run into. Simple as that. :)

my oscar was evil last week and tried to kill my fish (ony managed to kill 1)and now he likes the fish in my tank

I agree. People on this forum always do this.

ive noticed this and have done this but as jpappy said if we dont say it then nothing will be done....

I'll give you 5 stars just because of those angel fish. Man I wish I had 2 angels. I lost 1 of mine last night. Can you ship 1 to me? :headbang2: Just jokin!

That is because we care about the fish. And if the member who post really care about their fish they will trust the advice people give them and act on it. If you do not want help or advice, don't post a question. Pretty easy. :)

i agree with you jpappy..

I gotta agree with Pappy too. Just search Craigslist for the 10 - 30G tanks that include a free Oscar. :headshake2:

Better to plan ahead from the start IMHO.
