RCS deaths, any insight?

Well, I don't know what changed but everything seems cool again. Haven't found a dead one in a few days now...

On second thought, one thing did change. I used to leave my mag float in the tank but last week when I did a WC I took it out. Do you think the metal from the mag float could have been causing the problems?

Spoke too soon, had another death yesterday.

I'm thinking about adding some new ones to the tank to see if introducing a different bloodline would help things.

Three weeks after removing the mag float I have maybe seen a handful of deaths at most. I'm really starting to wonder if that was the culprit after all.

Very interesting. I wonder if that's been causing my shrimp to slowly die off as well. Curious if anyone else has ever experienced this.

How often do you change the water? have you tried using different water conditioner( i think Amquel+ plus is a good one)?

I read the entire thread, i am just wondering how often you do your 30% water change, every week? 2 weeks? a month?

Typically every week but there have been times it's lapsed beyond that. Never more than two weeks.
