irridesence in tiger barbs and other fish the show it is good- that means that they are in good health
velvet is not so good, for it is a disease, and you should probably know that, for it is somewhat common

kinda but i has very good maintenance...weekly water changes...i gravel vac...scrape...water is crystal clear...levels r 0 0 0

There is no way nitrate is zero, you either don't have a test kit (I'm 50% positive this is true), your test kit is giving flase readings, or there is something you are not telling us (such as your nitrate is well over a 100 and you have never done a water change, I'm 50% positive this is true) and

If you don't know what ich looks like, or what velvet is (whether it's good or bad), haven't even Googled them, i can't imagine you would take the time and effort to buy or use a liquid test kit.
