I've looked all over the internet and google and haven't really found to much information on the red terror. Has anyone had any personal advise about them that would help me out. I was planing on putting them in with a GT and JD in a 90G. Are they overly aggessive fish? What are their color coralation on their body? Any help would be great. Any info would be great. Thanks

My favorite line about Red Terrors, which I assume is just another name for Red Devils (correct me if I'm wrong), is that the best tankmates for them are rocks and more rocks.

Red Terrors are not Red Devils They are both very agressive though and get to similar sizes the red terror is basically a large feaste.

Amphilophus Labiatus = red devil
Amphilophus citrinellus = midas cichlid
Amphilophus festae = red terror

re:

for me you can have them BUT in a 200gal like minnimun,, but you can have them for now in a 90gal, youll have fights sometimes like every cichlid but if these fights get worse youll have to get rid of the troublemaker, i had this fish for 3 months but i got rid of them last week cause my green terror n oscar pair were whipping them up (they were two red terrors, the true red terror and the false rt that is the one you see in stores) im going back home in a month (NJ) i got the true RT in the guayas river, guayaquil city's river, ecuador. they are cool and nice fish but very aggresive, they fight until death thats why mines have to go, cuz they wouldnt stop fighting with the oscars so the gt came in and help the oscars, anyway they were hardly damaged so i had to say bye bye.

hope this information help!

You recomend 200gal min for a red terror but you said it would be fine to house two green terrors in a 55 gal

ehh i said a a 200gal min for those fish not just for the rt, and its because these fish need space between them to prevent fights, and 2 gts (male n female) are perfect for a 55gal. i know cuz this are national fishes in ecuador, and thats why i've been gone for a time, cause i was learning more about ecuador's animals, in galapagos too.

i dont want to fight or anything like that instead im happy you ask to prevent future misunderstandings :) and this is what i learned about gts.
