Reef log/Diary

Well I thought it was about time I put some up-to-date photos on. This month is quite a special month, as I have now had my cleaner Wrasse (Badger) for 3 years. From all the reading I've done, this actually seems to be unusal as they don't usually last long in captivity. As much as I love him though, I won't be replacing him as I now understand better, the purpose they serve in the wild!

Let's start with the birthday boy - Badger

Considering he leapt out once (was actually pushed by a sixline wrasse) and landed in some dried salt a couple of months back, I'm quite chuffed he's lasted this long. He's also taken a couple of vacations down the overflow for a brief stay in the sump a couple of times!

Cat, those photos are just awesome!!!! I can hardly wait to get started on setting up and then populating my tank! When or where can I see a whole tank shot?

CPD: your tank looks beautiful. I can't believe that you have had badger for 3 years, that is unusual. Does he take some special care or food? The photographs are terrific, thanks for sharing! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you and your tank for 3 years of care and hardwork.
