I've had a xp1 on my 29 for over a year and it is clearer than the penguin on my 20H. Never had any problems with it and I went from a reg UG filter to a RUGF the same week the XP was put on.

do you have any of hte micro filters in the XP2? They are the polishing layer of the filer.....I still wouldnt trade my XP2 for anything....and if you do have the micro-filters you might need to change them out.
Yeah, I have the micro pad, the one on the very top. I thought those weren't to be changed until at least a month. I checked that pad a couple days ago, it wasn't that dirty, so I left it in.
