Request scaping recommendations

Hello everyone!

I wish to change the look of my tank. I have tried several times in the past but tend not to be the one I like or as beautiful as those of yours. One of the issues I am facing is that I am having limited resources - plants and equipment. All plants that I can find are those in my tank, freely available is Limnophila sessiliflora that I have to cut and throw away every weekend. The biggest problem for me is that I am using submersible filter and the filter media box is blocking the light in the mid while the current from the output is very strong.

Anyway I would like to request your help re-scaping my tank.

I would bunch like plants together and make them look bushy. Add some larger stones or driftwood to bring out the scape as well. And since you are limited on plants that wood/stones will also take away some space from the tank so it wont look as empty.

kinda what bk said i see some stuff in there but its behind the plants. bring it out to add some flavor to the tank. it does take plants time to grow in so you might also want to wait a little. if those are amazon swors i would spreed them out a little more.

Thanks BK and Mgamer. I just removed my driftwood because it was too big and not in a nice shape. It seems that I currently have a triangle space in the mid. Would add some more amazon swords. Another thing is that I do not have enough micro sword to cover the foreground - may be I should wait. That stones on the background I used to weight the output tube from the filter down - May be i should build a CO2 reactor from that rather than using another power filter to inject CO2 but I have no idea where to place it.

I would also use the height of the plants high to low to bring in a focal point

I agree with bushwacker. And as Bk and Mgamer said, it needs some wood and rock. And I think some darker plants maybe some red to contrast.

If you don't want to add anything, try moving the plants around so that you have a tall bush in the far corners, decreasing in height towards the centre, and then empty swimming space in the middle. I think you have a lot of good plants but they are scattered around and not giving the right effect.

in my opinion a nice piece of driftwood in the middle would be nice. and like bk said, bunch some of the plants together a bit more ( not the amazon swords though) and make them look more bushy.

Thanks for all your recommendations. I would try finding a driftwood or move plants around. gspar i see your points however I got problem with the filter - I'll find the way.

As for the driftwood, should I look for the one I can lay horizontally on the substrate or the one at will be put vertically to have that natural looking?
