Running Co2???

thats pretty much what im going to do but for my 29 gallon biocube ima use two 2L bottles and then for my 10 im scared that there might be to much co2 in that small of a tank if i use two 2L bottle is there still the same amount of co2 coming out? but it just last longer because there is two bottles?

use 1 bottle for the 10.

remember tho that CO2 is not a needed unless you hit a certain light level.

we commonly use wpg as a rule (tho it is not accurate)

how much light you have will impact what can utilize the light.

I run several tanks with good growth with no CO2.. ie 29 gallon tanks with 55/65 watt lights.

no CO2 and no ferts(or very little) the tanks are over grown and require pruning every few weeks. with no CO2 you may experience slower growth. in higher lit tanks you may see some algae.

It will run 24/7.

I would use a different airstone. Go with a limewood diffusor or a chopstick in the end will make tiny bubbles too.

its the only part i could find for that one so i was like what ever ill get that and its 100% open so there is no problem and the ad is to see if anyone wants to buy one that doesnt have time or anything to make one just trying to help out some people

can't find the diagram.
the air line tubing conects to the lid of the 2 liter bottle.
the other end of airline goes to wood airstone.
pressure forms in pop bottle forcing co2 through tubbing to air stone.

recipe for co2 mixture is simple,
1 cup white suger
1 tsp champaine yeast or brewers yeast
fill bottle 3/4 full with luke warm water
slightly agitate don't shake.

Sorry for bumping a dead thread, but I bought brewer's yeast online about a month ago and it ended up being Brewer's Yeast Powder (dietary supplement hah).. will it work? I read in DIY CO2 basics (and some not-so-basics) that dropping a multivitamin tablet in helps the yeast stay productive longer.
