Sally crabs reef safe?

Well since Sallys are known to eat seaweed... Its just doing what is in its nature.

Sally's can and will take small fish if they get a chance. In larger tanks not as much of a problem as in smaller tanks where other food source are usually less. I know some people that have had them for years with no problems and a couple of others that lost small fish to them( ie firefish).

So put a big chunk of Nori down near where she hides on a vegi clip so she can nibble all day.

They are opportunistic...they are safe as long as they aren't hungry and tempted by something you'd rather them not eat.

Grins being nearly complimentary about a crab!!!!

yup. they are suposedly reef safe, but similar to grins, i just dont trust crabs... I also think there are things that are much better algae eaters (IE: mexican turbos and sea hares) than sally light foots or emeralds.
