FANTASTIC. The corals look great, and even if the angel changes to a female, I still love the female swallowtails. If my upcoming 50 was large enough, I'd buy s/he from you!

and i should also update that my clowns have not given up interest in the midas blenny. i totally have to tong feed the poor guy 
here's the latest greatest pic of him in his jail - at least the egg crate gives him some freedom from his keepers...
i just wish he'd give up on that hole and come out of there when they aren't looking! the clowns just hate him but if he was on the other side of the tank they'd never bother him as they don't wander far from their nem. they really hate him too if i don't guard the hole after i feed him they will go in there after him trying to get the food out of his mouth! i don't know why they hate the poor little guy so much...

Poor guy. Clowns can be so rude. Especially large ones. They look so cute and innocent when you get them small. They can even be adorably curious. But soon things change. They go through puberty and turn into an angry teenager. Whats even worse is you just can't seem to hate them. I mean, its Nemo! With a cute butt wiggle and strange sleeping habits.

so finally the blenny has come out to eat!!! he has to be really fast about it and zips back into the hole but i've actually seen the whole fish! it's only been what , 6 weeks..? i am still feeding him with the tongs tho and i'm glad i am, he's soooo skinny poor thing
and in other news... i think my rbta is splitting! im pretty darn sure about it in fact! it's hard to tell as it's on the backside of the rock but it seems to have 2 feet! i'll try to get a pic and post it

if your rta is splitting are you interested in selling the 'clone?
Sorry about your blenny...you think if you 'escorted' him to the other side of the tank and arranged a small area of rock similar to what he has now he would stay on the other side and live a little bit more peacefully? The clowns may feel threatened by him being so close to the nem.??maybe??

oh yes if the nem does indeed split i will def be selling the clone, it's a great nem too, it has beautiful color and loves to stay in one place which is a great thing!
i do think the clowns are threatened by the blenny being so close to the nem but he just loves that hole and has never even explored the rest of the tank to find another - and there are plenty more for him out there! if i could just get him out of there i'd shove an empty snail shell into his hole (kinda mean i know) to prevent him from going back in there. the problem is getting him out! he's so fast even when i feed him with the tongs he just pops out to grab the food and dives back in the hole before the clowns come to attack!

i am happy to report that jupiter the midas blenny is now officially coming out to eat! i didn't want to jinx it but he's come out for 3 meals now! he even came out earlier today when i was around the tank i think because he thought i might be getting ready to feed. i am so happy! he is really skinny but tonight he looked a little fatter already :headbang2:! after i fed them tonight he stayed out for at least 10 minutes afterwards, until the clowns came all the way out across the tank (very unusual) to attack him! of course that made him swim right back into his hole. i was surprised too, i was hoping that they would keep him from going back in the hole not come out of the nems to attack him. so tomorrow i might actually close up the hole to keep him out tho i do feel bad doing that to him hopefully i'll figure something out and will be able to get a pic of him tomorrow with the lights on...

your tank is looking great salty! sometimes i wish my RBTA would split..must be happy cause it is humongous lol my maroon is in heaven..are your clowns Maroons...they are pretty mean..mine has attacked on occasion, I don't think I will ever buy a mate..2 would rule the tank
