Thanks I got my package yesterday and I have never seen my shrimp out and feeding for such a long time. My guppies really like the flakes too. Can't wait to see the long term effect on everyone. I will order again.
Good to hear! I tried feeding the RCS that i traded for a couple of weeks ago with some of the veggie sticks, but the fish just devoured them. I was just hoping that they made such a mess doing it that the shrimp managed to get some of the leftovers. lol
I noticed the veggy sticks and algae wafers you threw in are really soft compared to the algae wafers I get but because of that it was spread over a bigger area and fell between the gravel and made the hunt better for the shrimp. It also gave me a chance to try to get a count of my shrimp. Wow, I will have to be trading some pretty soon. Started with 10 CRS from msjinks in June and counted at least 30-40 last night.
haha, i know what you mean. They seem to have an incredible ability to hide and stay out of sight. I got 20 or so 2-3 weeks ago, and i just saw 1 for the first time since the day after i put them in the tank. It was on the sponge that is on the intake to my canister filter. I was starting to wonder if they all died or got eaten or what? So now i assume if there is 1 good healthy looking shrimp there is probably MANY. There are a ton of plants and hiding spots, its a 37g tank. Im tempted to pick up some more, but if i did they would all have to be adults this time. Anyway, having way more shrimp than you thought you had isnt such a bad problem to have!
