Do you sell bigger portions? I am interested in getting bigger portions if and when you do.

I have gotten that question alot, and at first my answer was that i didnt really intend to do that, but there definitely seems to be an interest in it. So i guess my answer now is...it depends. haha Most of the stuff i only bought a 1/2 lb to start with, and now i have a lot less than that of some things. So really it depends on what you were interested in getting a larger quantity of, and how much you wanted. Eventually i would like to buy in larger quantities and have more of everything on hand. So anyway...

just let me know what you were interested in, and we can see what we can do. I will be placing another order for food soon because im getting low on some things, will be my third order in less than a month. This has been way more popular than i expected! So if i dont have enough to give you what you want now, i should shortly. Like i said, just let me know...

JW has anyone fed any of this stuff to thier coral, thats mostly what i plan to do, aside from the mini pellet wafer things that my cories are gonna enjoy

I havent used any of this stuff specifically with coral, i have just strictly FW at the moment. But the decapped brineshrimp, the copepods, and the golden pearls should all be great for coral! I used decapped eggs a few years ago on a tank i was maintaining and got a great feeding response from all of the LPS in the tank. I have heard nothing but GREAT things about the Golden Pearls for coral, and i would bet dollars to doughnuts that the copepods would elicit a tremendous feeding response also.

I actually think some of the other things ground up would get a good response also...like the meat with sirulina wafers and i bet some of the flakes even. Some LPS are capable of eating pretty good sized foods. I bet the no carb micro pellets would be eaten by alot of different LPS...frogspawn, hammers, brains, ect. Some of the zoos would go to town on this stuff too im sure. I dont know, im a firm believer in feeding a reef tank! These animals need to eat, they cant thrive only off of their symbiotoc algae alone.

DoctaQ...i would love to hear how your coral take to these foods, and also from anyone else who is using this stuff on a reef.

thats good to hear! I was actually wondering about SPS, i wasnt sure if the decapped BSE or the medium to larger size Golden Pearls would be too large for them or not. I figured the copepods would work well for SPS though. I will be placing another order to resupply myself, and also to get a few new different feeds...i think i will get some of the smallest size Golden Pearls for people with SPS. I will try to give you a heads up DoctaQ when i receive them...i would send you a small sample of the smaller GP's for free if you wanted to try those out too...

my pocilipora and other larger polpyed sps can wolf down cyclopeeze so size isnt much of a problem for me, i dont think my birdsnest really takes food well and my acro doesnt seem to eat much in general. feeding coral is an interesting thing.

That is very true...it presents some interesting challenges for sure! Im a firm believer in feeding a reef, these animals almost all have feeding tenticles and digestive systems (in some form or another)...they eat something. I would have to guess with the birds nest and acros its just a matter of size. They have extra small polyps and equally small tentacles. The cyclopeeze and arctic copepods are basically the same thing...just the cyclopeeze are genetically modified to contain higher levels of HUFA's. I would have to assume they are basically the same size though. The 50-100 micron GP's are significantly smaller than the arctic copepods...those GP's are almost a flour like consistency. I cant even imagine what the 5-50 micron are like. If i had known you were feeding coral i would have included some of the 50-100 micron GP's as a freebie.

But my offer still stands...ill send you some of the smaller GP's if you want to try them out. If for no other reason than to satisfy my curiosity! haha

Got my order yesterday. Thanks for everything. The fish, shrimp, and snails seem to love everything. One thing I have noticed with the higher quality flake is that they stay in the water column a little longer, so the fish have a little more time to eat them up. My other flake just seemed to sink to the bottom rather quickly. Thanks again! I will be ordering more when I run out of this! :)
