Schooling Gouramie...

I do not know ALOT about gourarmi's just, if you go with dwarfs make certain you get only 1 male! I had 2 (in the begining before I knew about research), and they got along fine at first even swam together..then they took to opposite ends of the tank and then the next thing I knew my powder blue was chasing my orange (sunset I think) and nipping at it, the poor thing ended up with gashes (deep ones too) all over..I tried hospitaling the orange one but it was of no use he ended up dead :sad: . I would not recomend two dwarfs together unless you know FOR CERTAIN one is a female. I don't know about other gourami's but from what I have read they are all pretty territorial.

Just my experience I thought I'd share with you.
 
My sparkling gouramis school together. I had 3 and purchased two more and they joined right in with the 3 I had. They all live near a large crpyt plant in a 37 gallon column.
