Okay, so this may sound really dumb to a lot of you, but I wanted to comment on it anyway. Though I've had a tank for about 3 years, I'm relatively new to real fishkeeping. I have a 29 gallon tank (specs in the signature), and it previously held only 3 neon tetras (along with the rest of the fish on the list). I added 4 neons just a couple of days ago to bring my total up to 7. It is amazing to see how different it was having 7 instead of 3. It was such a dramatic difference, one that I never quite expected. They stick together pretty well, and their colors are much more brilliant than before. It's just really cool to see them schooling like that. In fact, I liked it so much that I've got 5 more neons in qt right now to round out to a full school of 12! They're beautiful!
It's my first really effective looking school. Just thought I'd share my joys!
