Serious Critics Needed Please (Photo)

Yes, I use DIY yeast culture for this tank. As this is only a 60L (18G) tank, you are right, there are too many plants in it...typical newbie syndrome! lol!
At the begining when plants are still small they look ok but now they have grown leaving little space in the tank.

I think the first thing to do is to move the lotus either to the back or out :(
Trim the Java fern, move Luwigia towards the back to allow more space for the moss in front...

If that biotope posted in your previous thread is what you're really after, you might consider some more hardscaping. From those photos I'd say the rocks play a large part in defining that particular landscape. Some river rocks of varying sizes might help achieve the Malaysian jungle stream look. Don't really know where you'd squeeze any rocks in, though, that's a lot plants! They look great by the way.

It really looks like you have too many plants, and too many plants that are the same height. I'd take a few out, or atleast spread em out more that way when they fill in they actually have room to fill in.

Thanks for the comments!

Just moved the Lotus back and bring out the 'red crypt' and moss, push back the Java fern to allow more space in the foreground.

What do you think?

maybe you could move the ludwigia in the back too behind the crypto

I love your tank! That is what I would like my tank to look like some day. Just out of curiosity, how much lighting do you have, and what type is it? Also what is you water hardness? Thanks!
