I added bio spara and full load of fish sunday and have lost 3 of my six serpe tetra. One monday, one tuesday, one today. I checked water every day and today is first day ammonia at.25, PH 7.6, nitrates 0. At a loss as to why fish have died no signs of anything till swimming on sides and floatiing. Feeding tropical fish flakes and all seem to eat well? is it time for water change? how much?

You'll want to do a water change until you get the amonia to 0, ideally. Do you have a nitrite test kit? Amonia and nitrite are the 2 things that are really harmful to the fish, you want both to be 0.

yes nitrates are 0

There are nitrates and there are nitrites, in general niTRATES are not a big concern right now because they are not fatal to the fish by themself. NiTRITE is very harmful to the fish, much like amonia

Yes 65 gal tank, set up 2 weeks ago. fish added 3 days ago along with bio spara at same time. tank temp 78 deg.

dont understand differance between the two? how to test differance?

It is a separate test kit that you will need. And you might want to get one soon, I've never used bio spira, but my understanding is that you should not have any amonia registering when you use it. I wonder if it was not good...

yes added sunday with fish.
