Setting up a Lake Malawi Tank

The Hongi's are a truly nice fish as well and will look nice when colored up but i believe they get a tad bit larger than the cobue's but both are nice fish i cant wait for my cobue's get some size and color will be sweet..

As for the seller out of 808 transactions they only had like 3 red marks and those were silly plus they have a lot of great feed back and if you pay attention to there guarantee, i would buy from him but its always a gamble when doing fish business on-line just be careful and ask a lot of questions..
 
I'll have to look into them some more I think, the guy has a phone number to call if you have questions so I may just call him and ask about them. He has the Cobu's also so I will order one or the other from him I'm sure.

So, they did finally come Wed. I ended up getting 8 more...only one did not make it. I wont order from this guy in the future but he did do what he said he would. He had all 8 in one bag, their fins were pretty messed up, and they had blue dots on their faces (which I assume was from the blue stuff in the water) the dots are gone now and they seem to be doing just fine.

Armada...I do not have a full tank shot (that is updated) right now, but as soon as I get a new cam, I will get one and post it up ;)
 
Sorry about your ordering experience. Mine was similar but a bit worse than yours. I received all DOA except one out of ten fish. All in the same bag. Shipping was nonrefundable and half the cost. It took almost a week to receive confirmation of refund for the fish, and in the meantime I had to store the fish because I couldn't get a response on whether the pics I sent were adequate. PITA, lol. I would go with airport shipping next time, far more reliable.
I'm glad it's worked out okay for you. Did you ever convert your sump, BTW? I don't know how people live without them.
 
I am just hoping the ones I get look at least half as nice as the one shown!!!
