Sexing Blue Dempsey? + Growth Update *Pics*

Just wanted to share some update pics of my juvenile blue dempsey. He has doubled in size since I got him a month ago.

Does anybody want to take a shot at sexing it? I think it's a male because of the semi-elongated dorsal and caudual fin. But I could be wrong (hopefully I'm not).

When I first got him (yeah, that's an amano shrimp in front of him):

I recently moved him out of that 6g, into the planted 29g. I'll take more pics and post them in this thread.

The new pics will be brighter, and closer.

I'd say it's uncommon, rather than rare. When I got mine, that was the first time I'd seen them in person.

tangledupincichlids.com has them more often than most pet/fish stores.
ARE THEY EXPENSIVE
