Well Goldie got into an unfortunate accident with a piece of decor in the tank. He got stuck inside of a tree trunk, and I had to push him out with a q-tip. That was the original reason that I ended up here on this forum, to find out what to do for him because I was determined to save him, and haven't left. lol
Oh jeez that's such an adorable shot! Nice capture
Sounds like you're taking very good care of that little goldie. Kudos to you for being such a good fishkeeper. He seems to be recovering well, from what I can see in the photos!
Yes he is doing great! I was uncertain there for a while if he was going to make it. Having scraped all the scales and a good amount of flesh off the left side of his face. I'm still not sure if his eye will bounce back completely. It looks a bit sunken in now, but he seems to be just fine with it. And is super happy to be out of the quarantine tank and back with his buddies
The Lil One... I got him because my girlfriend wouldn't let me get an oranda(she thinks they are ugly). So I got this guy instead cuz he kinda reminds me of an oranda with the orange cap and all. I hope he gets REALLY ugly. :evil_lol: So far, so good!
And, finally, the whole gang. The feeder is Lorraine, the one that started it all!
Here's a couple pics of my new guy in QT. He's a bit shy, and kept trying to hide his face.

I love his coloring. White, then orange/red, white, then orange/red and finishing up with white on his tail fin and with just another touch of orange/red.
