Shrimp Question

Do any of you with shrimp only tanks have problems with them jumping out of the tanks? Do you close off the back of your shrimp tanks or is it okay to leave open?

I have covers on mine, but I dont think a shrimp out of water can even walk or support its weight...

Most of my shrimp tanks are open tanks. None of my dwarf shrimp really escape out of the tank, although amanos have done so before.

I have had open top shrimp tanks with no issues. They don't jump.

amanos are beasts I don't worry about my red cherries. Had them in an open top tank for months with no wanderers

I will be getting the neocardina yellow or blue pearl. I don't want to plan the tank incorrectly.

You should be fine with or without a cover.

the only reason I eventually covered my tank was because of the brigs. Little troublemakers.

They will only try and climb out if the water quality is bad or if there is NO oxygen.
