Shrimp Question

You guys don't have shrimps climb along heater cords and escape outside of the tank?
While back, a ghost shrimp did this to me, although the water level was less than 1 inch away from the top of the tank.

I've never had a shrimp scale anything to get out. I've had Tigers, RCS, and a few Ghost varieties in open top tanks and never had one get out.
