Shrimps with discus?

oh, ok, i have a python, how about ottos as algae crew?

hmm...i think ill give up on the idea altogether and stick with the trusty python and gravel vacuum, thanks for all your help :)

It depends with the ottos, some people have claimed that they stick to the sides of discus sometimes for their slime coat. You could go with a good school of cory cats. You just need to make sure it is a species that can handle the high temps of discus.

I have had ottos for a long time with silver dollars, they seemed fine together, but then again, silver dollars do not have such a slime coating

my ottos! i don't think i'll risk em with discus...besides, discus require clean water, so algae shouldn't be too much of a problem
