Hello everyone!

I have recently noticed that I have a few snails that look like sideways rams horn snails. I know there was a thread about this a while back, but I just can't seem to find it:wall:

Does anyone know what they are? Are these common to get? Will they eat my plants:uhoh:?! I would take a picture of them, but my camera is on the frits, and my good camera is in texas with my sister.

can you find a pic on some other site?

I think this is it. And I guess they DO eat plants:( I'll have o start squishing I guess, or set a side a tank where I don't mind having them.

Anyone know the names of these?

that one is sideways instead of upright like a regular ramshorn, I still can't find a name for them.

then how do you know they eat plants, my ramshorn eat plants but tha is because i dont feed them! :P

Those aren't as common as the usual Ramshorn, but they do pop up here and there. Don't really know much about them though.

It's worth noting that regular Ramshorn can occasionally maneuver their shell into a sideways position.

yep, it could also be that their muscles arnt strong enough to hold the shell upright. idk just a theroy!

From the little info I have found, it says that they look like ramshorns, but are not the same. I've read that they do, and they don't eat plants......so I have no idea there.

As for the question about how common they were, I just wanted to know how many other people had them, I can't see them being worth much at all lol
