come on guys, we are new to this whole thing. but this is our 4th tank in like a month, so obviously we have a passion for it. We are still learning to take care of the fish and keep them as happy and healthy as we can. We will move on to a live planted tank later on after we learn all we can about keeping fish. As for the betta, remember that he is still very young, 3.5 months and only an inch and a half long... so he has a little while till he gets his finnage. he is sky (powder) blue, and iridescent green depending on light.
man, you guys are narrow minded, LOL. he really seems to love his new home, is swimming all around the tank, playing in the falling water of the filter, and playing with the plant tips.
cant you guys cut us a little slack, just about everything we have learned is from this site, and talking with other hobbyist.
BTW, we choose this setup because we wanted to show off his colors and his beauty the best we could. white gravel, and darker plants and cave to accent his colors. Personally, I think that the tank does just that. IMO.
there are a lot of set ups i dont like. doesnt mean anything wrong with it. ask for what people think and dont like the criticism. some people will like it others wont. it happens

very true, I understand that everyone will have an opinion on it. I was just cutting on you guys, nothing serious. the most important thing to use anyway is that people like the betta. sorry....
btw, my girlfriend likes your sig, she loves space balls.... LOL
Have a great night, and thanks again....

This is DooSPX again... and again... sorry... arrhhhh!!!!!!

nice tank and fish!

He's a handsome fellow, and his colors go with his tank! Well done.

It's nice but i think you should make it planted a little ..

I gave you a five also. And I applaud you for taking things slow.
I jumped into plants headfirst and I got lucky with keeping them healthy (luck and finding this forum). If I had to do it again I would start at a snails pace.
Good job on the betta and tank. I am sure he is a happy little fellow.

Very nice color!
