Information borrowed from here

There is some good info on that site. Did you save your shells, Sounguru? If so, you should pick out some of the largest ones and measure them. That might give us an idea of maximum length.

They are drying now and I plan on taking pics and measuring.

A few more photos before I shipped them out! There seemed to be at least 3 kinds of physids. There may be more than one kind of pleurocerid, but it's hard to tell with all that macrophytic algae.

Physid type 1: Yellow

Physid type 2: Brown

Physid type 3: Spotted

These physids may be the same species, just different colors. I don't really know. I like the yellow ones though.

Pleurocerid, rocking the macrophytic algae. I wonder if they have some kind of relationship? None of the physas have algae on them like these guys do.

And, one of those little fish fry has actually lived, so now I'm not sure what to do with him. He seems to be doing fine right now in a bucket with treated tap water and some river water. I'm guessing he feeds on planktonic critters, so I'll have to replenish his supply. I put a couple of almond leaves in there also, to encourage plankton and algae growth. I have a sponge filter, but no air pump. I'll have to see if I can scrounge up a super cheap or RAOK air pump. He'll probably die anyway, but I'd feel bad releasing him after tramatizing him, since he would be easy pickings. If I can get him up to an inch or more, I'll let him go.
So, here is Fry's home for now!

What's that? You don't see him? Imagine a compass. Look in the WSW area of the bucket.
Still don't see him? How about I get a little closer...

See him? Right in the middle? He looks like a line with 2 black dots for eyes. Still a little hard to see? Fine, one more closeup.

I KNOW you can see him now. He was the smallest of the bunch, and the only one to survive.
I guess we'll see what happens with Fry.

Now all I need is several 10 gallon tanks to keep them all seperate.....

Sweet batch can't wait to see how many make it and what they look like with my own eyes.
