Any snail experts around??? I'm confused as to what exactly my snails are. I'm leaning towards brig for the striped and cana for the golden...yes? no? They both have orange foot specks...if that helps. Any ideas? Thanks!

They are black and gold mystery snails! Not such a mystery any more though, LOL

They can breed pretty fast and take over a tank. They are either a male or female and sexing can be done if both snails are the same age since the female will be bigger.

They also need to breathe air so leave some room at the top of your tank between the water line and any glass tops you might have. Best to allow the tops to let air pass in and out as well.

Pomacea Bridgsii. Brigs.

You can tell by the joint of the whorls; they're at a 90 degree angle. Cana's are more acute.

Should have done that; was were I got the info that I passed on...

yes I'm a member over there and posted the same question as well :) Just wanted to make double sure! Thanks!
