Snail Newbie

I don't - it doesn't look like a malaysian trumpet snail (what I was first thinking) at least not like mine. How does it crawl. MTS snails almost inch worm along pulling their shells along. They also have the foot and a feeding tube that always are out on min -- let me go get a pic. BRB
I'm not sure how he crawls because he won't move when I am looking and now he has hidden himself somewhere in the tank. Can't find him. It is a baby one as it is maybe 1 cm long.

Ok. Now I am addicted. This Gary 'hugging' a carrott. What have these snails done to me? Included are Gary's three tankmates. Spot (the goldfish), Bugsy (the black bugeyed fella) and Scrappy (the bottom feeder).

Tell me if I am getting carried away with the pics! That's all for tonight. Promise. Tommorrow I will try to post some of the baby Trapdoors. Need to clean their tank first! :)

I am thinking I should take the carrott away before he gorges himself!

Well the things you learn reading these posts Tums huh? I don't have any snails yet but am planning on getting some so am readin up on different related posts. Good information!
Be careful! I started with Garry, then Snelly, then Snelly's 12 babies and now Spike..... it goes on from there apparentley!

Gary looks oddly a cana than a brig. His spire is sunken. Canas eat plants, brigs don't. Nice snails.:)

And trapdoors are livebearers indeed.

Cute fella! How big is he?

That guy was just a baby - about 3/8 inch --- I have some big guys though, like 1 1/2-2 inches long
