Doh, I could use my kitchen faucet and a longer hose instead of trying to make the bathroom sink work. The kitchen sink is closer than the shower and it's pretty deep, with normal threads and a couple attachments for changing them. (I live in a pretty small apartment.

Ha ha, they will literally hook you up. Good idea. Better than bumbling around trying to figure out the threads etc. myself!
