So I'm going to get a puffer fish...

In the chat rooms zzyzx85 said I could keep the puffer in an aerated bucket and do water changes frequently until the tank is done cycling. Would that hurt the puffer? And at the speed the cycle is going right now I bet that it could get finished by Sunday.

how would keeping him in an aerated bucket be any different than changing water on the tank its self? ie a fish in cycle?

NITRITES: .50
NITRATES: 5.0
AMMONIA: 0
It seems as the parameters are the same as yesterday. Isn't there supposed to be some spike or something?

are you adding ammonia to the tank?

Nice. I usually just add piles of flake into the tank, but why waste food, eh?
