family tree maker version 10
and I have massive amounts of info
I just thought it would be easier to carry around a notebook on library trips
Sometimes I use LDS database, but since my family lived around here for hundreds of years (1600's) I use the genealogy society library they have great files and lots of wills and transcribed census', land records court records, etc.
LDS has lots of files because all it takes it just one morman in your family, they encourage their members to do their genealogies and post-mortum induct them into their religion (that part I don't agree with) if they want to know where they came from fine, but after I'm dead for 100 years don't go running around changing my religion to suit your beliefs, jmo
